Kevin Rivera is a Design Director with over 15 years of experience leading teams and developing innovative products across footwear, wearable technology, and performance-driven design. His work sits at the intersection of product innovation, brand building, and cultural storytelling—helping companies create meaningful products that connect with consumers while driving business growth.

Known for shaping bold brand direction and design excellence, Kevin collaborates closely with product marketing, development, sales, manufacturing partners, and executive leadership to bring ideas from concept to market. His approach focuses on elevating the role of design within the business, building high-performing teams, and delivering solutions that balance creativity, technical innovation, and commercial impact.

A New York City native of Puerto Rican descent, Kevin’s creative perspective is influenced by sports culture, early memories of his first pair of Jordans, and a lifelong passion for art, music, and movement. These influences continue to shape his work across footwear, product development, wearable technology, and brand innovation.

Beyond his professional practice, Kevin is passionate about mentorship and education. He teaches Footwear Design as an Adjunct Professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology and mentors students at Henry Wells Middle School, sharing his experience to help inspire the next generation of designers.
